"That's crazy!" Jack exclaimed, bolting out of his chair. He started pacing around the room, running a hand through his curly hair. "Thi-this, is a complete suicide mission!" he stammered.
Ryan turned his head from watching the riled up boy, to face Dr Emily. 
"Hate to agree with Mr. Paranoid over here, but he's right Doc. We're no heroes," he said shrugging his shoulders. "We can't be heroes."
Isla leaned forward, putting her head in her hands from the ridiculousness of the situation. "Jesus, this sounds like some marvel crap my nine year old brother watches," she murmured.
"Um, ouch?" Eric protested towards Isla.

Vinicus isn't happy about having to fight a child, but he can't let Max find out. After all, super-villains can't be "good people"... Can they? We can't all be born heroes. Most of the suits were at least 75% black. One hero stuck out in her blue suit. It had no black on it. Neera was wary of the color of her suit. /How did I end up here?/ One of the heroes had surprised her with a lucky hit almost a minute ago. She had felt the impact and acted on it, diving to the ground. She had a better fighting chance against the six when they were caught off guard. Two people fall in love in unlikely circumstances. They have a lot of psychological issues and mistrusts in the order of things to prevent them from finding themselves and each other. I am a reader of crime novels and hard science fiction almost exclusively, and yet this story, which I have been writing for a long time, is a love story, I can't explain it even to myself. The characters will have to work through hardship and evolve to be able to surrender to the magical things around them and the flow of the universe and the love of other people. This story still is a work in progress, it has holes and it is to be continued

Now, not only does he have to deal with school, his almost non existent social life and his aggravating younger brother, but he also has to fight super villains and learn to control his new found powers to avoid blowing his cover to the world...and it is a lot harder than he anticipated. Prepare for a roller coaster ride of lame one liners and painfully awkward adolescent behaviour, along with bromances and romances, breakups and make ups, and even some cliché superhero behaviour, villains who hold a grudge, and really dorky super suits. Oh... and angry, rampaging squirrels.
