Most fairy tales begin with a once upon a time and end with a happily ever after, but this one isn't a normal fairy tale. Far from it, actually. You see, we were Royals, locked away from the modern world and forced to continue ruling over small kingdoms. Being a Royal had its perks, and it definitely had its times when you wish you could throw it down the well outside in the orchard. But life just isn't that fair, and this fairy tale just isn't that typical.

Does every story end in a Happily Ever After? Let me just start off by saying that when you're a princess, no one ever actually asks you if you wan't to be a princess. You just are. Which sucks. There are rules. A lot of rules. Always look your best. Always stand up straight. Never walk flat footed. Always be polite. And never, under any circumstances, use sarcasm. He stayed with me when I asked him to, and we had our happily ever after, at least for a little while. But nothing lasts forever.
