I always believed that my group of friends were resilient enough to withstand anything. But then that day happened and I watched it helplessly crumble. I close my eyes.... I see two girls..... waiting for all the annoying vehicles to hault; waiting for the traffic lights to command them to stop while it warmly welcomed the two best friends with a flashing green light... It finally did. Every vehicle applied their breaks for the two, who began their stride hand in hand..... Every vehicle haulted except for one.... The much shorter one was a bit ahead of the other. This can't be happening... Please, this can't be happening... Kate thoughts race as she felt her heart drop to the bottom of the floor. She rush to the hospital after she received a phone call that her older sister was involve in a fatal car accident. Lily had been her best friend and she couldn't imagine life without her best friend by her side. Tragic. Sorrow. And even heartbreaking. Lily had a family that loved her infinitely. She was beautiful and intelligent. She had a remarkable sense of humor and she was also kind, a friend to anyone who would allow her into his or her life. From the time she was a little girl, Lily had brought so much joy and laughter into the lives of everyone around her. It didn't seem fair that someone so wonderful such as Lily would have something so terrible happen to her. "I Love You To The Moon And Back" highlights the importance of family and also mental health.
