She would cheer on the Beacon Hills Cyclones with the sparkly pom-poms her mom waved before her. She would ace all of her classes and become known among her friends as their resident overachiever. She would jumpstart her medical career and intern at the local hospital. But that all changed when she discovered that her brother had a secret identity. Kat has never liked secrets. They made her uneasy; they made her wish for the time when she thought she knew everything. Secrets made her wish that things were back to normal. But, after the biggest revelation of her life, she's left wandering through the supernatural world with no time to adjust to her new normal. Kat's life has completely flipped itself on its head and is now filled with werewolves, giant lizard creatures, and dozens of glowing eyes rather than her black and white world of science. Libby, a young teenager of only thirteen; yet again faces a new obstacle in her life, after losing her father and now older brother; her mother believes that moving halfway across the country to Geelong will fix the remaining pieces of their broken family. Other than the fact that she was a maroon supporter now surrounded by more New South Walshmen than Queenslanders, she wasn't too bothered by the idea although she'd never let her mother know that. She doesn't know how to cope with being the new girl, since she never considered the possibility of having to be; but a certain someone makes it a lot easier for her. Ethan Karpathy. The gorgeous popular boy in her English class but of course life doesn't like it that easy on you, it has to be more interesting. Being a teenager is definitely not all that it makes it out to be. It's not easy. It's awkward, gross and embarrassing. But it's also filled with love, friendship and awesome memories. In A New Day, you go along for the ride with Libby and see just how difficult growing up can be. (EDITING IN PROCESS)
