10 people, aged between 14 and 20, are one day "misplaced" from their homes and put through multiple trials. These will be difficult and deadly enough, but they will also be hunted by a rogue band of thugs (or pirates?), who constantly need to be taken into consideration, or else.

This story mostly follows a single boy's perspective. I will for sure be writing from multiple perspectives, though.

*I have no idea how far I will take this book, I just woke up from a dream with inspiration for writing it. I will tell you, the part that I experienced in my dream was absolutely great. It wasn't a nightmare... but 3 of my friends went missing at once. I didn't get to see where they went, but it was kind of saddening. Anyways, I hope you enjoy!*

I saw the corner of his mouth twitch and before I could comprehend anything he tightened his hold on my throat, my mouth was already slightly open so he had the opportunity to shove a gun in my mouth. I tried to move back away from him but he tightened his hold and shove the gun farther down my throat causing me to make loud gurgling choking sounds, the taste of metal, fire and smoke spread into my taste buds causing me to gag, that's the same gun he had shot my father with. "Do you have trouble speaking? I'll help you talk my love, there must be something stuck in your throat?" He said shoving the gun deeper, by now the base of his pistol was pressed down against my lips as I choked loudly. I screamed and jumped in fright as he pulled the trigger. Nothing, No bullets were fired. The force of the gun shook my whole body. I gargled and shook my head no repeatedly, but he wasn't satisfied. he squeezed my throat and completely blocked my airway. This book follows four teenagers from four different parts of the U.S. when their lives are dramatically changed one day. When zombies become real and more than just horror movies and scary books, they're forced to fight to stay alive. What they don't know is how similar their struggles are, along with their goal: get to the supposed safe haven alive. (The book is under editing right now, and I'll be changing the location of the safe haven from Columbus to Cincinnati. I didn't really think it through when I first wrote this but I think that Cincinnati would make a little more sense. Sorry for any confusion!) *************** BEING REWRITTEN I started writing this at 14, and it started out as something I made just for fun. The story was mostly imporvised, and I don't like how it's turned out. I've had a lot of new and hopefully more interesting ideas, and there's so much that I decided to rewrite the whole thing completely. The story will be very different but the characters will be the same for the most part. It'll have the same style of writing with the different points of view, but separated between books instead of chapters, and I already have a storyline laid for the first 2 or 3. I'm sorry for the people that like the original story and were hoping for more, so I won't be deleting this one. I'll update on my page once I start posting chapters of the new series.
