Skylar Cyril is accustomed to the fame that comes with being the daughter of Lillian and Jacob Cyril. Her mother is an Oscar winning actress and her father is the CEO of a multibillion-dollar company, so her life has never been very private.

Most people would do anything to live the life Skylar lives, but she feels the exact opposite. Skylar would do anything to be normal for just one day. While her parents have given her as normal a life as they can, it's still not anywhere near that. They are never home. Her mom is almost always filming a new movie or tv show and her dad is either at the office or out of state on a business trip, so that leaves Skylar alone most of the time.

A lot of people think they know Skylar before they even meet her. Which means that some people automatically think that since she is popular means she is just a spoiled, rich, brat. It has never really bothered her though. But when the new kid is assigned to be her math tutor, everything changes.

Luca already can't stand Skylar; he believes that she just another mean, high school girl that gets whatever they want. Skylar tries to brush off his hatred but with how much time the two have to spend together, it starts getting to her.

Will Skylar convince Luca that she isn't just a shallow, rich kid or will she always be hated by her tutor.

I guess you'll have to read to find out.
