Within the universe of Xirety, another tale had been taking place whilst the main events unfold. This tale is set in Asloria, a place where kings and queens were made to rule over their planet whilst being protected by their Goddess. After a long line of ancestors, Vulre and Vaeri were born to become the next in line, though from their father's past intentions - it was not clear how long they would survive. Tragic events would follow from their birth, without the young prince and princess knowing it was their fate that caused it.

Asterria has entered an era of renewal following the battle at Durga's How, but its sense of peace cannot be shared by those who heard the dire warning given by the gods. Although ten months have passed, Morana and Tarion still believe that Astaroth could return and are determined to be ready to face him this time. But their people have other priorities which threaten to upend their lives once more. Division is spreading between the people who are pushing for Tarion and Morana to be crowned Asterria's new King and Queen, and those who believe their purpose has been served. They are caught in the rippling tides of change, and with the future hidden from even those who once wrote it, there is no telling where that change will lead. As the tension grows, Morana is becoming more afraid that they won't be prepared to face the new threats emerging, and of what will happen if her worst fears are realized. Only one Heir of Hadeon will remain standing at the end of it all: an immortal God-spawn, or the mortal Phoenix. Can Morana fulfill her destiny and the sacrifices demanded by it to destroy Astaroth once and for all, or will the world be lost in flames? Warning: This book, while being a work of fiction, still deals with real and mature elements. There will be chapters dealing with abuse, gore, PTSD, sexual content, and other topics which some might find triggering. {The Phoenix Duology} "From the Ashes, I" "Born of Flames, II" {Additional Asterrian Saga Books} "Threads of Fate", prequel "Two Cursed Souls", sequel Completed August 21, 2024 *UNSOLICITED CRITICS MAY BE MUTED* see bio

The path fate lays before us is often many years in the making, and the tale of the Phoenix and the God-spawn is no different. Nearly 3,000 years before the war that would bring about Astaroth's defeat, another battle was waged to ensure there would be a future to fight for. Duty has been thrust upon Prince Azael Cadhael for centuries, first by filling the role of an uncrowned King, but his true story begins as all royal stories do: with a ball, a secret, and a peculiar dream. When Azael overhears the whispered plans of his betrothed and her twin brother to leave with the Phoenix on a goddess-given quest, he must surrender to a new type of duty entirely. Navigating his ever increasingly strained relationship with Tissaia Lochren while striving to save the future of his kingdom isn't a job easily done, and her closeness with the Phoenix, Kaius, certainly doesn't make it any easier. Tissaia has spent years in the shadows of her own failure and her father's wrath. Kaius's quest offers her and her brother Talarion a chance to claim their freedom at long last, but fighting ones' past can be just as deadly as fighting an armed foe, especially if that past isn't keen on backing down. If they're going to succeed, all four of them must learn to recognize the power in truth and bared secrets, as well as the strength in kinship. If they fail, it could mean the doom of all Asterria for an age. But if they succeed, perhaps fate will be kinder than they have been led to believe.
