Briar, Violet, Scarlet, and Sadie are the best of friends online. They met through the game Minecraft and bonded over it, but as the years went by they drifted away from the game, much like the rest of the world. But on one fateful night when Violet can't sleep, she opens up the game for old time's sake.

And vanishes off of the face of the Earth.

Shortly after Violet's disappearance, thousands follow. After two years of people from all over the world disappearing into seemingly thin air, Sadie, Briar, and Scarlet still find themselves on Earth and wondering where their best friend has gone. But one discovery sends the three girls into the game they used to worship when they were younger; Minecraft.

Follow them as they run into familiar faces, YouTubers of all kind, and face challenges that seemed so simple when all of this was just a game. Will they find their friend and get everyone else back home, or are they doomed to be stuck in this game forever?
