Y/N Curtis is a fourteen year old girl in 2019 Tulsa Oklahoma. Her grandpas Ponyboy, Sodapop, Darry, Keith, Steve, and her grandma Cherry, come over for her birthday. Grandpa Pony tells Y/N about his time as a fourteen year old, and about his two buddies Johnny and Dallas. Jennie is saddened by her grandfather's story and wishes that it could of turned out differently than it. Suddenly, Y/N wakes up in a strange place and runs into oddly familiar people.
