They say when you stare into the abyss, the abyss stares back at you.
But what happens when you're the abyss... then what do you stare at?

In the cave of Sanctum, lies a place called Krone. Krone is the abyss that claims all that enter. At 2,212 meters in depth, land is scarce and things are limited. So when a whole civilazation lives there, what hardships do they come across?
At what lengths would our protagonist, a resident of Krone, come across to survive this harsh underground world?

Maybe just shoot some one or escape the cave...?

How far would you go to achieve a dream? If an opportunity to attain it presents itself to you, how tightly would you cling to it? What would you be willing to sacrifice for it? Len Keiri has a dream he thought he could never achieve: become an explorer in a world that had already been discovered. But he's presented with a once-in-a-life opportunity: a chance to explore the Abyss, the last undiscovered place in the world. A great pit tunneling miles deep into the earth, the Abyss is a world in its own, offering great fame and fortune to those who dare to plumb its depths. Those who have seized those offers become legends themselves, passed along with stories of the great pit. But of course, every rose has its thorn. Unforgiving environments unlike those on the surface, deadly creatures that far outsmart the human mind, and ailments that afflict those who try to return home from the depths. The Abyss welcomes outsiders, but it doesn't treat them kindly, and it doesn't want to let them go. And if it does, it more often than not keeps their sanity in exchange for their freedom. However, Len doesn't care. He's willing to throw himself headlong into the Abyss, no matter how far he has to go, no matter what it costs him. But what does that actually entail, and is he truly willing to sacrifice everything? In a far, far away future a thousand years after a global catastrophe which wipe almost all humans... A new civilization was form in the ruins of the old one. The technology of their predecessors looks like magic to them, but that won't stop the human urge to understand it all. Then, one day a young man was inherited a mask, and entrusted the task of repair it. A mask that hides a secret that will affect the future of them all. At what lengths would he go to fulfill a promise? What enemies will he face? Which allies will he make? And more importantly of all. What is the cost to pay? I would really appreciate if you give a little of time to comment your opinion of every chapter, and it would help me a lot if any typo, continuity error, or some writing advice you can make. This is my first story and I very exited to see how it goes! I would also really appreciate likes and shares, I don't actually know if likes affect how the story performance, if it does then I would really appreciated and if not then I always welcome free internet points, in the case of shares, I know is a little harder to do so, but that definitely helps me a lot! [NOTE: I want to clarify that this story might be a little too charge with its weird lore and, I have to admit, might have put on too many characters, and sometimes I have problems explaining some stuff or I don't explain other stuff to well. I will keep editing stuff to try to make this its best version possible.]
