When Rukia goes back to Karakura town in order to find Ichigo, she succeeds. Only the fact is his memory of her has disappeared completely. He is also the boss at the "Kurosaki Clinic", has a wife and son and is ignorant to the shinigami world. To make matters worse, the Soul Society is falling and all hell breaks loose. Hitsugaya is in charge to notifying about the tournament to Ichigo and Rukia who are currently living in a rented apartment. Later then, he gathers some of his friends along with Rukia, Yoruichi and Urahara to participate in the tournament.
