The Hunger Games movie came out a couple days ago. As a celebration I decided to write this. Please leave feedback. P.s. Some of the facts may be wrong. I made this up based on the books, but I read them last year and might have missed some stuff. Anyways I feel like Effies past was a mystery so I made up my own. I hope you enjoy.

The 136th Hunger Games
When Kira Blackwood's name is reaped, she knows she's screwed. How is she supposed to survive in a fight to death with twenty-three other tributes, all of whom want to get out alive as much as she does? Not to mention, the thought of killing somebody twists her stomach into all sorts of unnatural shapes. Despite secretly training for the Games in the cow pastures surrounding her home, and being pretty handy with a knife, Kira's kind heart may be the thing that holds her back the most. However, as she navigates through the opulent world of the Capitol, and then the arena itself, Kira starts to realize that maybe, just maybe, it's not the dead she should pity, but the Victor. After all, no one ever really wins the Hunger Games. Survives, sure. But wins? Never. ~~+~~ Please Note: This is set in a world where the 2nd Rebellion failed. All usurpers were executed (except those pesky star-crossed lovers, who knows where they ran off to), District 13 was destroyed for good (but District 12 was rebuilt, on the basis that the Capitol realized that it actually really needed coal), and the Hunger Games were reinstated. Disclaimer: I don't own any of the rights to the Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, or to the Lionsgate adaptation of her books. (Obviously.) Hello fellow Harry Potter fans! I am putting this on Wattpad to share a piece of Harry Potter fan fiction which I wrote for my friend Talia. The story was edited by my younger sister Emma and my best friend Jacqueline, who did an awesome job helping me with this story. There are currently four parts to the story labelled For Talia. Chapters 1-6 take place in the 4th Harry Potter book, Chapters 7-12 in the 5th Harry Potter book, Chapters 13-19 in the 6th book. Part 4 is a novel length version of events from the 7th Harry Potter book. See Chapters 21-39. Some general considerations: First and foremost this is a piece of fan fiction and should be treated as such. This is no Harry Potter duplicate. JK Rowling's writing style is unique to her and this was not made to copy what she created. It is an expansion of the Harry Potter universe to include the story I am trying to tell. Any discrepancies between the Harry Potter books and this piece of fan fiction when it comes to certain events at given times is a mistake (which I tried to avoid). I have been vague on exact dates to try and stop it from occurring. Any spelling errors are just that- spelling errors. Emma, Jacky and I tried our best to spot them all but if some slip through feel free to circle them in red pen to make yourself feel better. If you disagree with anything that is said in this story, whether you thought a known character wouldn't say or act as they did: tough cookies. It was done to make the story work as a whole. This adventure/love story will be split into different parts. It's the hunger games and maze runner combined! I've never had time to write a book and since I've been quarantined and stuff I figured it would be a good time to make one of my dreams come true! The majority of the quotes are from the movie. All of the characters belong to Ms. Collins. Maddie is the only character that is my original. All of her thoughts are also original.
