It is said that long ago, there was a group of people with magic powers. Some were good, and helped the ones that were born without any magic, while others sought to destroy anything without magic. A great war was fought, and people from both sides perished. The nonmagicals eventually grew to resent the magicals. They formed groups to hunt them, forcing the magicals to either go into hiding, or suffer a fate worse than death.

Because of that, they were blessed with healing abilities and elemental gifts. Additionally, the herbs they grow are just as magical as the people themselves. Their carefree and charismatic tendencies cause them to always believe the best in people, even when they shouldn't.
