Born to a dead mother and father, the only affection these kits had took form in the cold medicine cat of ShadowClan, Clearfrost, an illusion that broke like smooth water. Things only got worse as they grew. Their relationship with each other morphed colder and more brittle as they themselves changed, each struggling to survive the war in the only way they knew how.
