Rose and her brother Simon are on the run. When the royal guards murder their mother to get to Rose they leave with only a little amount of possessions. They are on the hunt for sanctuary. Stumbling in and out of abandon homes until they run into a stranger who feels all too familiar.
Cain rides around the kingdom he doesn't have a purpose until he meets Rose. They share a secret they both are 'Frosters' a dying race of people with magic over ice. They can't deny their attraction to each other. But is it the shared magic or something more.
Together the three of them have to decide their future. Do they stay together and run? Or stand up and fight.
