The Blip is a story of a group of citizens.
Not heroes. Not people with powers, no one out to kill or cause crime. Regular people living their lives. Only this time half of them are gone due to the Snap that wiped out half the universe. This will later be known as The Blip. And a group of the remaining half have to live through it.
My work so far is not yet finished. I let the first Chapter out for everyone who reads it to see how they like it. Think of it as a test read. Please feel free to leave comments and feedback of the story. If liked I'll continue the story.

The Weight of Grief
It's almost funny. How grief sneaks up on you. One second, you're fine; you're coping well and then it hits you like a bullet, tearing right through your heart, almost killing you on the spot. Grief is a monster that lies dormant in the darkest quarters of your mind, growing stronger and stronger until you can't fight anymore. Until you can't breathe. Peter was fractured. The monster having grown too big, and without any support left to hold him up, the world of drugs dug its claws into him. And it was slowly killing him, like a sickly sweet poison that dulled the pain while quietly feeding on his soul. He was powerless to stop it. He was too tired to stop it. Tony was doing pretty good. It's been three years since the end of the Blip. After the defeat of Thanos everyone expected to begin living their lives again. But a year later Earth was invaded by an alien species called the Others.
