Sigil: Angel of Death

This is the first of a four book series that focuses on a dimension called Nimeria. In Nimeria a sister dimension to Dimensia instead of having extra terrestrial beings, it has supernatural creatures. Nimeria is a dimension that has four plains of existence, the celestial, the reapers, the demons, and finally the humans. Each plain has a Titan its strongest, all except the human at least.

Here's a sample!
"Hunger, hunger for power, all of us has it. This is the one thing we are all guilty of, even the reapers at a time were guilty of this thing we call a sin. Greed is what we call our hunger, but can such be called a sin if even we celestials have it. We desire power, the others pretend they're better than it but I gave myself over to it.

I hunger for power, I live for it, I kill for it. Greed is what humans make into demons, but only one Demon can be found guilty of true greed. The Greediest, the most self-righteous demon is the titan of his kind, Kriel. I am the greediest of my celestial brothers and sisters, I have stolen my place and power as Titan. Imsrelle the Titan reaper may not have stolen his place or committed an act of true greed but abandoned his own for gain. Every Titan is filled with greed.

This is why I do not mind killing this child. I don't understand why these humans would go through the trouble of hiring me to kill a human child though. I have never missed, one shot one kill is how I do business. No messes nothing left behind except the wound and the body. Then my paycheck, simple. So why not hire a regular mercenary for a lowly human, I'd normally take out demons, reapers, even other celestials so what worries them so much that they'd hire the best for this kill?

No matter, I slowly drew back my deadly bow breathing out slow and steadying my aim. Then I let go watching as the arrow flew like a bullet through the air. I turned to walk away not needing to see the impact to know I hit my target. Wait! Somethings wrong!
