Rabbit Summer

As part of an experiment, my friend Steve and I are writing a story in tandem. We don't know precisely where the story will take us because we each pick up where the other left off. It is exciting for us because we are both writing AND reading the story at the same time. Until we see Steve's second chapter, it's about a group of kids with a terrible secret and a long Summer to keep that secret. The only thing we can promise is that no character will suddenly wake up in a shower and reveal that everything which came before it was a dream. Beyond that the genre may change with each hand that crafts a chapter. If it seems to settle into a genre we will make the adjustment.
