Limbo

After enduring a horrific childhood, Rachel Monroe has finally attained something she's always wanted - a normal life, with a husband, friends, and a job which might help her realize her lifelong dream of becoming a designer. But after a fun night out ends in a shocking act of violence, she finds herself once again trapped in the childhood home that she had worked so hard to escape, unseen, unheard, and with no way to alleviate the crushing loneliness that goes along with her new existence.

When the house is turned into a bed and breakfast, and the first group of guests arrive, she hopes that she can find a way to make her presence known to someone. She gets her wish in a very unexpected way when another violent act gives one of the inn's rock-star guests the ability to see and communicate with her. Once he convinces the others that she's real, they begin working on solving the riddle of Rachel's entrapment, and a rather unconventional relationship develops. But when the answers are finally revealed, will they set Rachel free, or force one of her new friends to join her in limbo?
