Every year, people 13 years and over are handpicked to attend Dragon Rider Academy, a place for humans and dragons alike.
Kiera Kuroshio is one student accepted into the Academy.
She meets many new friends when she is sorted into her elemental Wing, makes many new enemies, and not only faces the trials of being a Dragon Rider in training... but faces classic school problems a normal 13 year old girl would go through. Boy problems become ever so apparent.
But what else can happen in a magic school full of dragons? Many things obviously.
