Morris Gard Lake

Welcome to Morris Gard Lake. A massive lake, gouging into the center of a large meadow, stretching for miles and miles in length. It serves use for many pegasi herds that migrate seasonally, using it as their rest stop after long travels up and down.

This story is about a sandy-colored filly named Codi and her close brotherly friend, Grey, a grey pelt colored young adult who had just become a stallion not too long before. Grey had been troubled by the herd ostracizing him as he was not able to defend himself, growing up orphaned without a mother nor a father to teach him the necessities of self-defense, and a leader who would abuse him with physical harm. It was on that very day they first stepped hoof on the surrounding lake's soil when Grey confesses that he wanted to leave the herd for the better of his life and to no longer be burdened by misery. Codi understood her friend and would do anything to help her friend leave the herd. But there was one problem with that; the leader did not like his horses leaving the herd. If they're caught, they'll be in great trouble.

They convinced the red-pelt son of their leader to help them escape, who had no problem ditching his father anyway. And one day, they went as they planned, escaping the herd. But the plan went sour in the middle when Grey broke his wing when falling from the sky and crashing into the tree before falling into a deep creature infested revene.

Will they get Grey out of this revene? Will they survive the creatures that lie below and above the revene? Will they finally find what they were looking for after all this mess; a new herd?
