I'm honestly the worst at writing descriptions, so bear with me. 

Virgil Grey has been kidnapped, but it's not for the first time. Four years prior, Devon Rivers kidnapped Virgil. However, Virgil shot him and escaped, with more mental scars than physical. When Virgil is kidnapped for the second time, memories resurface, as well as a burning hatred for the man with the startling green eyes. After the traumatising time period spent with Devon, Virgil's boyfriend, Roman, discovers a way to find and rescue him. 
At least, he hopes. 
Drama, screams, blood, and tears. That's what it takes for Virgil to see the light of day again- but at what cost? 

This story is just the 5-shot in my one-shot book, I thought it deserved it's own little book.

Virgil has always tried his hardest to stay out of the the way of the others in the mind scape, to not cause any problems. He was a very nonconfrontational person, after all. But sometimes, confrontation seemed to hunt him down. ' "And lastly, it really comes down to who's more experienced." I smirk a bit at him and bite my lip, smug as he stares back at me. Roman seems to lean in a fraction of an inch, still not breaking eye contact. Then his eyes flicker over my the rest of my face breifly, and my breath catches in the back of my throat. ' ★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★★ This story is of everyday life in the mind, and draws inspiration from a lot of books, including, but not limited to, "THE QUIET", "Stitched", and "far too damaged", along with references to other books I have read in my previous fandoms. This was kinda odd for me, writing in Virgil's point of view, mostly because I like to stray very, VERY far from the whole, "dayum they're hawt... Woit wat?" Kinda stuff. But Virgil is kinda, y'know, anxiety... Either way, I still tried to keep it on a restraining order, minimum distance of 40 ft. ;P. However, there definitely was some internal conflict going on. Animals that died, strange creatures that roam about, and a strange hooded figure that seems so familiar. No one else can see these things, though these things can see them. They can affect them as well. Virgil hates cities, the bigger the city the more death there is, the more work he has to do. His job is to guide souls to the after life, or if they turn malevolent, cut them down. The moment he was assigned to a city, he already had a death to take care of. Except, it turned out to be a false alarm since the man survived. Virgil wouldn't have cared too much since it happens often, but now that man can see him and other spirits. The Borrower and the Fairy Prince by inkling0121

*Completed* Virgil has never had it easy, not since he was kicked out of his home by his own father. He's struggled to survive, and has fought for food. He sees what should have been an easy meal, some berries on a tree hanging over the river. It should have been easy to get it, of course the stupid branch had to break and he was sent plummeting into the river. Roman loves to sneak away from his colony and his fae duties to head to the river, he's always wondered what is on the other side of it. Of course, he and everyone else in his colony is banned from crossing it. One day though, a stranger with no wings and a tail washes up on the river bank. When he takes him back to the colony, he's put in charge of taking care of him. Thomas has inherited his home from family, it's in the middle of nowhere in a forest. It was nice, and not too far from his home is a nice river he can explore. Of course it can't be so simple though, since Thomas is in debt and could very well lose the home. Not wanting to lose a home that had been in his family for so long, he struggles to find some way to pay it off.
