This village was hunted and burned down, killing any and all who escaped. Some were taken in as human experiments.

The terrible atrocity was named the flares burning. It was turned into a folktale to warn children that they shouldn't follow their predecessors and destroy those with peculiar differences. Of course that stop them from continuing these cruel acts
