All of these poems tell a story of something beautiful that really happened and I was lucky enough to witness such beauty. They tell a story about what beauty really is, not what it's made out to be. And so with these stories, comes ones journey. They reflect our own stories and stories of others. They speak the truth and what the truth means. They are what can change our perspectives, our views, for the best. And with every year, they remind us again and again. These are the stories that we have been deaf to.
