"Michael" AKA Mike is a teen in high school struggling with what his sexual orientation. If he comes out and tell someone then he will be the laughing stock of the school. His parents don't know he is gay and his friends don't know either until there is a rumor in school and everyone is suspecting something and looking at him when he walk's down the hall. Every one always thought he was weird. When he was younger he didn't really fit in. Felt like he was alone in the world.
Shelle best Friends with Mike and has been with him since he was younger. Marcello is also best friends with Mike. Help him fit in with the world not to try to end it.

Michael only ever wanted to be liked. To make people happy. For the most part it was easy. With a healthy childhood he gladly gave himself away and molded his life to fit everyone's expectations. A good boy who did as his mother told and followed where his father lead. Where his life went didn't matter. It was useless to him. All he cared about was pleasing those around him. Anything else in between was just to receive the small gesture of a smile from everyone he met. And so that childhood came and went at the mercy of others. As he grew older so did the thin tightrope he traversed to balance his growing unhealthy desires. With his easy high school years coming to a close his life slowly unravels without him realizing. Pulled in every direction he's entangled in the expectations he once craved. Not sure which path to travel anymore it's only a matter of time before the strands finally snapped. He grasps desperately for the one thing he believed he wanted, only to find what he truly needed is already out of reach. {Prequel in the "Living To Exist" series}

"Well then. That's the first time a girl has ever rejected my close proximity," he said, eyes ablaze with a playful fire. "You better get used to it," I retorted as I spun on my heel and headed for the school doors that led to the outside. "I've never met anyone like you before," he called after me, this time, not coming after me. "I know, Romeo. I'm a special little snowflake," I called back, not turning around. "You got the 'little' part right there, Princess!" he shouted after me. I threw up my middle finger back to him and heard him laugh as I exited out the doors rather dramatically. ... The Other Side Of The Lens
"That was weird, but I can't stop my heart beating ten times faster than it should be. Laying down on the bed I face away from the bathroom door not wanting him to look at me. I pull the white cover up to my nose and look at the wall. I hear the bathroom door open and footsteps reach closer to the bed. The covers are being moved behind me as Mateo gets ready to sleep. I reach up to turn off the lap on my nightstand, and when I do we're left in the dark abyss of my room. Mateo's arm wraps itself around my waist and pulls me back into his hard chest. He gently lifts my head up and puts it back down onto his bicep. I take in a shaky breath and close my eyes deciding it is best to just sleep. Feeling his breath on the crown of my head, I'm more relaxed than I was before and start feeling sleepier by the second. But before sleep overtakes my mind. I hear Mateo mutter something. "Good night sweetheart." ~~~~~~ Moving on. Growing up. The fears of Mateo and Veronica. Two strangers who have been attending the same high school for the past three years. They believe they are different from each other but they have much more in common than they believe. Senior year things change when Mateo finds an interest in Veronica. She decides to give him a chance and see where the friendship goes. What she doesn't realize is that she's falling for him faster than she thought...and he feels the same. Through a camera lens, Mateo shows Veronica how to live her life to the fullest and that she is not alone in this big world. Meanwhile, Veronica is helping Mateo move on from the tragic incident that occurred in his family. Having faith and trusting that their relationship will stay strong.
