What if the whole world went into the medieval ages all over again because everyone was so poor? What if everyone had to ride horses again, not drive cars? What if, instead of guns, you carried bows and arrows, swords, knives, and shields? What if now everyone in the world was ruled by a King, and he had his rich lords and sheriffs who taxed the poor so they all stayed poor, while the rich got richer? They stole from the poor, and no one could stop it.
Raven, a poor, orphaned girl, has heard the stories of Robin Hood. She finds it a bit funny how they both are named after birds. She admires the great Robin Hood and his Merry Men. She lives in what remains of England, one of the countries who's economy was the worst. She knows of the people's hardships. One day, she tires of it. Her loyal friend, Joanna, joins her. Now, these two must find the rightful Queen, take down the phony king, and give money to the poor. But they'll need help from unlikely strangers-turned-friends.
Robin is just like any other teenage girl. She loves to run, hang with her friends, and is obsessed with her cell phone.
Oh, and she's known by her city as The Hood, the mysterious figure that takes down those that are corrupt and wealthy with the help of her merry men - her three computer genius friends that are expert hackers.
Her current target? Richard Sherwood, CEO of Sherwood Innovations. He has a net worth of multiple billions (exact amount unknown) and has been grooming his son to be the heir to his empire.
Oh, and he happens to be involved in the death of Robin's parents and the disappearance of countless other innocents in the city.
So, what's a girl to do? Stand back and watch a selfish, malevolent man take down the city with his bare hands?
No.
She's going to steal from the rich and give back to the poor, of course.
But even though she has her secret weapon, Golden Arrow, and her tech savvy best friends, stealing from the most powerful man in the city from his Sherwood Tower office building is much easier said than done.
