Cheryl Blossom; "nerd", "freak", "psycho". Always seen crying or seemingly talking to herself. Always alone. As Southside Serpent Toni Topaz joins her new school and watches everyone else being mean, she notices the fear and distress in Cheryl's eyes and feels something. But what?

Suddenly, everything changes. With the help and protection from her new serpent friend, Cheryl Blossom is no longer a target (for the most part).

Will the two girls' relationship evolve? What will it turn into, and what will become of the both of them?
