when annie vern went missing the day after junior homecoming everyone including her foster parents thought she had left for new york. nobody looked for the 18 year old wall flower as there was nothing they could do. her friend everette denalo thought the whole thing was fishy. he began digging around looking for clues of where annie could be. he requested help from one person, soon three, and in the end there was 18 people looking for annie vern. along the way they uncover plenty of secrets about thatcher creek and the neighboring cities. among drug dealing, gangs, dirty cops, clueless parents, highschool drama, and college creeping up quickly threatening to split the group up, can they solve the disappearance of annie vern?
