A worldwide series of nuclear meltdowns known as The End of Days slowly makes the earth's surface uninhabitable. Two polar-opposite siblings, Marian and Kyle, choose a life over each other over a life underground with their parents, left with no choice but to survive. Ghouls are humans living with a reaction to the radiation, adaptation. They have been separated from society out of fear and are typically hunted when surviving near an unwelcome community.
