Alyna Targaryen was just a girl of seven when she was whisked away to Essos by Magister Illyrio Mopatis and his associates. Her father, the ruling King of Westeros, was murdered by Ser Jaime Lannister and House Targaryen overthrown by House Baratheon.

Alyna is joined by a motley crew of advisors and companions consisting of Tai of Yi Ti, a man of high intelligence and wavering reasons, Missandei of Naath, a girl with noble intentions and great heart. Characters like Ser Barristan, Grey Worm, Jorah, Quaithe and Daario will join her.

Journey across the continent of Essos and visit iconic locations such as Pentos, Meereen, and to more mystical locales like Asshai and Yi Ti.

Will Alyna be able to retake what is hers?
Or is she doomed to follow in her father's footsteps?

Daemon and Rhaenyra's night at the pleasure house had consequences. Viserys disinherits Rhaenyra when she refuses to marry Laenor and gives Daemon an ultimatum. Rhaenyra is heartbroken to discover her uncle chose his place in the line of succession over her and their daughter. She leaves for Essos and establishes an empire while raising her daughter. Visenya Targaryen grows up away from Westeros but is very aware of her heritage and who she is. When things go badly she and her mother return to Westeros where she meets her uncle Aemond. Like mother, like daughter, but unlike Rhaenyra Visenya has no intention of losing the man she loves or her inheritance. This story will not follow the TV show or the book timeline. This is a love story where the dance of the dragons does not happen. In this story, Alicent married Viserys when Rhaenyra was 6 years old. This story is not entirely book or show accurate, I am taking some creative liberties. For example, in this story, Rhaenyra never moved to Dragonstone with her family and remained in the Red Keep.
