Finally the time has come to where the only "solution" to the worlds problems is nuclear war.
Nobody knew who started it, though the names of the countries with the biggest arsenals was thrown around a lot.
Not that it matters. Every country suffered, whether physically or morally.
Though even after the bombs were dropped and the power plants went out the war was not over. From the destruction and radiation of the war walked the survivors.
People not close enough to the hazard zones to be killed but close enough to affected.
Over the years these people have honed their abilities. Able to use the nuclear energy as a weapon and as a tool.
These people were part of a new sub-humanization called Nukes.
With Nukes running about another group was formed.
The TriRogue Organization(TRO) in charge of researching, imprisoning, and exterminating the "Hazardous" Nukes.
The two forces have been at war since the start of the destruction.
What'll happen when the tables turn and a Nuke prisoner takes a TRO agent hostage?
They find out they have more in common then anyone thinks.

Welcome to Asteria
Now then. You're probably wondering what this place is? To answer that, we must go to the past. 4.5 billion years in the future from our current time, Earth's sun began to expand from burning up all its fuel. Humanity, having managed to get their act together and advance space travel, avoided their extinction and evacuated the planet, feeling their solar system out unto the stars. Many years passed by in stasis and in future generations. Eventually, humanity found themselves a new home. But alas, nothing worth having is easy to keep. Extradimensional entities known as Developers, named as such due to them being the closest biological thing you could get to a genuine god, appeared in humanity's new home. With their metaphysical, reality warping abilities, they changed the world over. Combining the new planet with 3 others in such a manner that multiple dimensions and timeliness were rolled into one like a bunch of star bursts that were pressed and twisted together before being shaped into a ball. Thus, it resulted in the reality bending world named Asteria! Strap in ladies and gentlemen, this is gonna get crazy. (Author's note: There are many references to other, more familiar games, movies, books, and others. This includes character names and back stories, weapons, character abilities, and even in universe power system mechanics that resemble or are inspired by other media. Every single one of these references, allusions, and inspired aspects reserve any and all rights to the original owners. The only things that I own here are the general lore of the world.) (I will also say this is a narrative story adapted from a TTRPG campaign that I am currently running with a system I made. Players may come and go as they please, which will result in characters disappearing from the rest of the story. I'll do my best to adapt to these occurances, but chapters may have length delays between them.) (Additionally, this story will take second place on my priority list.)
The Hero's Guide to Heroing
A story about superheroes in a modern world. Once, humans and power wielders were at war. The war brought both side to the brink of destruction, forcing peace or extinction. A tentative peace prevailed for a time. Enough to build trust between the two sides for many years. But as the two sides grew together some of the old hatreds began to stir again. Those who held these old hatreds became known as villains, while those who fought them became known as heroes. "Are you sure this will work?" one of the figures around the table ask. All are dressed in black and hide their faces. No one wants to be known to anyone else in 'this' type of alliance. "I'm certain of it. We need to simply kill the few true heroes left, and then expose the rest for the self righteous corrupt creatures they are. I've already started gathering the pieces I need." "What's the end goal here?" a third figure asks. "To purge the world of corruption and all those who turn a blind eye to it." There is a long silence before a fourth voice speaks out. "Your talking about mass slaughter. I won't be a part of this." the figure stands and begins to leave the table. "It seems there is corruption in our very own ranks.... I suppose the best place to start is within the inner vessel, is it not?" "No! What are you Doing? Stop!"

All living creatures mutated even most of the humans, but no two had the same effect. the only humans that haven't mutated are those hiding under ground. We follow the story of Mado X a survivor who escaped his underground safe house which was last called "the quarantine" because of all the diseases that occurred when their self powering generator stopped working. After a nuclear war nearly in 2150 the whole Earth has become uninhabitable for humans. There are some major cities which are still running but have very scarce resources such as food, water and oil. There are tall, thick walls protecting people from the outside world, surrounding the whole city and there is a ceiling, blocking the radiation from seeping in as air is filtered through the roof. The year is now 2205 which is the beginning for Earth to become how it was before. There are a group of people called The Warriors who go out and try to look for resources, facing death daily. A seventeen year old boy tries to steal food for his friend, he gets caught and is sentenced to death. The only way he could get out is if he joined The Warriors to search for a mythical jungle which is rumored to be flourishing in food and water. The journey is going to be very dangerous and death can come at any corner. There are bandit clans, somehow surviving outside of the walls and new types of animals unseen from humans that they didn't know existed. He will meet new friends, make some enemies and will be manipulated to do some really idiotic things, will he survive the journey and become a hero? Or will he die anyway?Complete

Not so long ago, humanity fought the gods above them. The war against the Ethereals was long and bloody, and only the discovery of magic saved humanity from total annihilation. Traveling within them is thought to be impossible, and the only shelter comes in the form of magical shield domes over humanity's cities. Progress is rapid, yet isolated to pockets of civilization. || You probably think it was a typo in the title, but I meant to put that there for a reason || Read to find out ;) ____________________________________________________ A normal planet with a modern society, that is until 50,000 years ago, a strange meteorite crashed upon Earth and leaked its metallic liquid. The man who discovered it decided to make the metallic liquid into arrows. He then buried them underneath his homeland and in the year 2000, it was eventually discovered and monstrous beings called "Klaxosaurs" begin appearing. The arrows were a sign of hope as when exposed to the air, it chose which people to grant powers from. A visual manifestation of life energy to the user. Ordinary people cannot see it, but people who were granted with these powers can see it. It could not be harm by ordinary things, only other special people can hurt it. This was known as a Stranxx, and people who were granted these powers used it to kill the infestation of Klaxosaur. Some used it for good, some used it for bad but they didn't know that there would be a school just to train your Stranxx and fight Klaxosaurs. Thus we focus on our main protagonist, Hiro. He is Stranxxless but he has a dream, and that dream is to be known as the #1 Hero that destroys Klaxosaurs in one swoop. So he thinks that the program will help him fight the Klaxosaurs.
