Listen very carefully to me. I don't have much time to explain what the government won't.
When I was 11, the military created robots to use against opposing countries who posed as a threat to ours. They were programmed with the ability to learn as they continue to train. They eventually got smart enough to question why they should obey humans. And they went rogue. The government won't do anything about it, so it's up to the military to do something.
This is that story.

Legacy
Book 1 of the Legends Never Die series. Legend. A program designed by five previous agencies, who had banded together to create an all powerful team of agents. This was a group of the worlds strongest, smartest, and loyal people. They were sought out by Legend's commanders, split into teams of five, and trained into powerful beings. Hackers, Assassins, Combat Soldiers. They were weapons of humans, used by Legend to protect their home, communities, and people. Various programs of Legend were spread all around the world, each trained and conditioned the same. And now? Most of them were terminated. Very few stayed at Legend, and became head of the programs. One that would ensure the protection of each family. Knowing that no former Legend agent would be safe on their own, they agreed to the new program. All former Legend assets and their families would return to the agency, where they would live comfortable lives. Where they would be safe. The children of those former agents were raised into the new program. Assessed by members of their families and head of the agency. Once old enough to be evaluated on their skills, they were split into teams of five, and trained just like their parents. More powerful than their parents ever were, at even younger ages. They're to weak and die way early but expect this one right here, a 22 year old, still I have no doubt he'll die in his next battle but while our heros are out there fighting we must make a bigger bunker under ground and hide from these aliens, or let's give these a name of our own, Raptures.

Years after The Fall, the Tribes that were established are still at war. They still fight to keep what they pillaged, and most of all they fight to keep their lies a secret. In a world filled with deception, nothing is as it seems. I was born into this world. Hunter Marks was molded into this world; a General- a person cold and harsh. A person meant to kill me. We were told to just believe. We were taught to never question. We're supposed to be robots and accept our roles in this altered society. Too bad Hunter and I don't follow the rules.
