Birth of Avalon

Many people know of Avalon and of it's importance to King Arthur Pendragon and the many stories of Camelot. The question that is often on the lips of those who are well versed in King Arthur's history and myth is how did Avalon come into being or did it just always exist?

Avalon did not just simply exist or rather it was inaccessible before the first of its inhabitants were brought to it. They were brought to an unnamed Island by faith and the need for safety...the Island was named by one single child who would change the face of history in more ways than she would ever come to realize.
