Natasha Romanoff has no one she cares about that isn't a hero. Is it so wrong to want someone normal in her life to care about, maybe even love?
Cue Viviana Romanoff, who has only been trying to survive Hydra. She's been abused, tortured, and been through things no child could endure. But Viviana is her mother's daughter, and has inherited her mother's ability to survive. However, no one's invincible, even the infamous Black Widow. Add inhumane scientist to the mix? Well, when surrounded by fire, you will get burned.
As a result, Viviana has closed herself off to the world.
But if Mother doesn't trust easily, and daughter is closed off, how can they ever learn to let each other in?
Or will their past destroy their future, and kill Viviana inside out?
Mistreated from a young age and sent away in her teens by her parents, she all but disappeared off the face of the Earth. Years of abuse from her new 'guardians' almost drove her mad- until at 22 she was taken by Hydra and spent the next year the subject of inhumane experiments, causing her to release her powers.
She made her escape, and the Avengers discovered her collapsed in the snow after the Hydra base exploded. The team were faced with a difficult choice to make in order to save her life. Will she be able to open up and start again? Will she be able to accept her reality? And where will her choices take her?

It doesn't really follow the movies, it is more of an in-between movies kind of thing crossed with my own storyline.
I do not own Marvel or any of their characters.
