HER
Family. That was my number one priority.
The night my mother died was not only the worst night of my life, but also the night when my dad's heart shattered. I picked the broken pieces up and stuck them.
He got into relationships and made sure to ask for my approval. I knew that no one could ever replace my mom- but I also knew that, my dad's happiness mattered the most.
He proposed to a woman. For marriage. But he wanted my approval in there too.

And the next thing I know it that- I'm visiting Italy. Visiting the woman who my dad wants to marry.

But

The woman had a son. Well, I thought that- the son might be a toddler,

BUT

The son happens to be living testosterone on legs. A living nightmare. . . yet a living dream.
I hated clichés; I was SO not going to feel for him in the- you- know- what way. Like SO not.

And that- in other words- is SO NOT Denial.

Well, how wrong could I be. . .
