After a cupid goes missing on a mission to find his soulmate, sorcerer Jude McAlistair is recruited to help find the missing cupid. The task shouldn't be difficult, but Hatred has sent an assassin to eliminate the cupid and his soulmate, as well as anyone attempting to help them. If the cupid is not found and united with his soulmate before February 14th, just six days away, he will be recycled and reborn, his soulmate left abandoned.

As if Jude didn't already have enough to worry about, a mysterious black cat insists on tagging along wherever Jude goes. But he's always been a sucker for helping those in need, so he sucks it up, sets to work, and totes around the little black cat as he tries to avert a Valentine's Day crisis.

Dante is a demon who feels out of place in Hell. His father Lucifer is hard on him, and he spends every second he can on Earth. He wants something different, and Ariel is different. Although demons can't love, what he feels for Ariel seems a lot like love. In this angel/demon romance, God is a woman and all the characters in Heaven and Hell love whoever they want. Some characters and settings were inspired by real demons or angels, or by mythology.
