Stages: a stranger things fanfiction

Queenie Calabrese was trying desperately to get her life back on track, so when her father, Romeo Calabrese, decides they need to move from Iron County Texas to Hawkins, Indiana, she sees this as an opportunity to reinvent herself. In a town where no one knows the tragic story that is Queenie Calabrese, she can be anyone she wants to be. And yet out of everyone she could possibly be, she chooses to be herself. More herself than she ever was in Texas. And for once things in her life seem to be looking up.

Then Will Byers goes missing. And the Calabrese family is sent into a buried nightmare that they hoped to leave behind in Texas. Fighting inter-dimensional monsters and demons in her head, she must face the kind of nightmares you have as children after having defeated the one's of adulthood. Queenie barely survives the first ordeal with the demogorgan.

But when her life starts to get back to normal in Hawkins, full of dead-end jobs and college applications, another threat comes to Hawkins. This one in a different form than before. One might call it teenage rebellion... and demo-dogs. While she fights with her own "bad" decisions, she must protect the kids of Hawkins from the newest threat that has taken over Will Byers.

Once Summer hits, Queenie's life is finally on track for once. She's going to college, has a whole bunch of new friends from PRIDE parades, and Hawkins finally seems relatively safe. That is until she almost hits someone from her past in her car. Then the strange things return to Hawkins. And this time, it's nothing like the others. Queenie is at her breaking point. She feels lost and alone. No one is there when she needs them, and she's leaving people behind too. Will Queenie survive to her fall classes? Or will the monster of her past swallow her up?

Completed until Stranger Things 4 comes out.
