The Templar Sona was captured by the Demaxian Ordinal Kayn after she landed on the planet Ionan with her friends. Some of them were killed, but Sona was particularly important to Kayn. Although she didn't answer any questions, Kayn knew that she was important to him and Rhaast, an ancient monster in a scythe that repeatedly took possession of Kayn. At first he only thought of her connection to Ora, the divine life force Kayn was after, but soon he began to see something in Sona that was important to him personally.
