In our present time where our economy experiences its ups and downs, people seems to forget their priority. They spend more time earning hard cold cash for their family. Working day and night just to be a good provider for their children. And yes they did, they became good providers for their children but does being a good provider means being a good parent? And for their children, does having everything they need and acquiring some of their wants could compensate for the lost time that they should have spend with their family? Does having a number of friends and playmates can take place the time that should be spent with their parents and siblings?

COVID...the pandemic entered our lives, the deadliest in a hundred years and caused a catastrophic change in our lives. It caused serious disruption of the economies all over the world and changed the way that we had lived earlier, drawing us out of our comfort zones. But there is another side of the story too, small as it may appear. It made us introspect and reach out for some of the things in life that we always longed for, but never had the time nor the sufficient will to indulge in, often hiding behind the veil of pretense that we cover around ourselves. One of the most cherished things that emerged out of this dismal scenario is that many of us found the time and the appetite for the company of our most loved ones, chiefly our parents. This is one such story which is my own and is based on facts.......
