That's something all grandmothers ask of their granddaughters sometime in their lifetime, right? And all that was at stake was the stability of the kingdom: no pressure. Set in a world where magic is vital, where mages are as equally feared and shunned as they're needed. A temporarily Kingless kingdom where vultures wait for the perfect time to take a plunge. The Shadow Within
"His stare promised death. It was a promise that he'd made many years ago, and now he was back to follow through with it at last." Willa and her friends are enjoying their night partying to celebrate her twenty-first birthday, when their lives are abruptly upended and thrown into disarray as they're cast from the human world they know so well. They find themselves in Faerie, a land fraught with perils and magic and a myriad of unworldly creatures, both good and bad. Willa is confronted by her past and who she once was when she comes face to face with an old foe she thought she would never see again, and her friends must quickly adjust to this strange, new land and survive the hardships and trials that are thrown their way. Together they must travel through the fae kingdoms, each more treacherous than the last, and restore balance to the world Willa had once called home. But there are forces of malevolence at work, the kind of evil that thrives off misery and only exists to bring chaos to Faerie and all it's inhabitants, and they will do everything in their power to stop Willa and her friends from fulfilling their destinies.
The Metaphorical Key Book II- Forge the Path
(If you haven't read the first book, stop here! Don't spoil yourself, the first book is also on my profile) The death of a friend can break a person, or reshape them. It could be the straw that broke the camel's back, or a motivator, a push in the right direction. Aiden isn't sure where he falls. All he knows is the guilt and the desire for vengeance. Maybe things could've been different if he hadn't made such a disastrous mistake. But then an opportunity arises for Aiden to learn more about his fallen comrade, to get to know him even beyond the grave. And like death, everything that follows could make or break the rebellion. Note: This story contains a subplot featuring a romance between two boys. It's presented as normal. If you have a problem with the lgbt+ community, then this isn't the book - or authour - for you. I'm a member of the community myself. Happy pride month! Spread love, not hate. <3Complete

The Serpent on the Throne
During the great floods and famine, my father, desperate for the coin needed to travel to the capital for the Royal Examinations, sold my mother and me to a fleshmonger. We were chattel, worth less than livestock. My mother, her belly just beginning to swell with a new life, fell to her knees in the mud. Her hands instinctively shielded her stomach as she begged her husband, "Please, I beg you. I will go willingly to the slaver's block, but Argenta... she is only twelve. She is still a child. I implore you, let her go." Author's Note: I post a new chapter almost every single day!

Together, they'll shatter the laws that broke them-and forge a love fierce enough to change everything. - In a kingdom where magic is law and the powerless are sold like cattle, survival is a coin few can afford. Every season, the poorest are swept from the streets and auctioned off as Familiars - living mana batteries to feed the ambitions of greedy sorcerers. Forgotten. Disposable. Erissa expected pain when she was claimed by Lord Kaelen Carmentis - the coldest sorcerer in the court, and heir to one of the oldest bloodlines in the realm. She didn't expect the bond to awaken something inside her. And she certainly didn't expect that, in the silence between them, she would feel safe. But Familiars aren't meant to be felt. And whatever is growing between them... is breaking every rule. Because she was never meant to survive the system. She was meant to rewrite it - and burn the old world down in the process.Complete
