It was a personal belief of mine that cliques weren't real. You know, fake, non-existent, whatever. I mean that in the sense that anyone can be part of a clique, anyone can be friends with the Populars or the Nerds, even. It just takes perseverance and a whole lotta guts. Note: it was a belief of mine. The keyword here being 'was'. ***** Hazel Woods is very open-minded, well, she likes to believe so anyway. It so happens that the cause of her open-mindedness stems from the fact that her group of friends consists of one Popular, one Nerd, one Cheerleader, a Wild and Other (herself). Her reasoning goes that if all these people from all these cliques can be friends, then anything is possible. And she means anything (well, humanely possible that is). So when a minor argument turns into an all - out war between the two biggest cliques of all, the Populars and the Not, Hazel is granted a spot on either side. The question is, which side will she choose? - indefinite hiatus -

"Why were you with her at a party?" Amara asked anger coming off of her as she started into my being. A shiver went down my spine. I've never seen her this mad. Never. "ANSWER ME!" She yelled making me jump a bit before my own anger came out. "Why would YOU wanna know? It's NONE of YOUR business!" I yelled back as both of our anger now filled the room. "It IS my business, wanna know why?" She asked walking towards me at a slow pace until we were inches apart leaning into my neck. "Because your mine." She whispered into my ear. *********************** The popular, the nobodies, and the nerds. The three groups in high school or as we like to call it hell I mean some people thrive in this place but me? No. I'm in two of those groups the nobodies and the nerds but even though I'm in two groups I still get one thing in common. The bullying. But I guess a little confrontation which I hate would give the bullying a whole new meaning.
