"I trust you. I know you. You aren't what your mom calls you. You are you, and beautiful."

"You can't believe that! I will never feel clean."

"When then, I'll help you with that.

"Why? Why would you?" My voice breaks as another sob comes out.

"Because you make me sane. I guess you could say,... I need you too."

"that's rich coming from a pretty boy" I narrow my eyes. "I'm not a pretty boy." He smirks standing from the desk and reaching forward twirling a piece of my hair between his fingers. "not in the traditional sense no...but you still bleed daddy's money" I reach up gripping his wrist, maybe harder then necessary; suddenly angry. "you don't know me Jasper, don't pretend you do" He sucks in a breath before leaning forward and putting his mouth next to my ear "I know you're so desperate for me, you can't fucking think straight" My breath catches and my eyes flick up meeting his not believing I heard what I did, but there's no denying it when he pushes me against his door and his lips meet my own hungry, angry, frustrated. ••• Jasper Collins is not expecting to ever step foot inside Balton's Boys School. Book 1 in the Solace universe HAPPY ENDING I SWEAR!! Idk why it won't say completed, but it is, I promise 🫡 ( 1 day + 11 hours are for the book, any time after that is bonus chapters!) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ (𝒆𝒙𝒄𝒆𝒓𝒑𝒕 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒓 7) I'm sprawled out on the grass with my head in her lap, facing away from her and looking at the swarm of children. Her fingers comb through my hair and occasionally, her nails will scratch against my scalp, making my eyes roll to the back of my head. Fuck that feels good. We haven't spoken in some time, and honestly that's not a bad thing. Sometimes words don't need to be exchanged. The fact that we can sit in silence and be comfortable with one another is louder than meaningless words ever will be. I love this. Just being near her, being in her bubble, enjoying her presence. Peace. "Solace?" "Salazar?" "...Do you think we can stay like this forever?" "Forever is a long time, Elias. You might get bored of me." I flip around instantly, head still in her lap, but now I'm able to look at her face. Her gorgeous face that now has a confused look and furrowed eyebrows. She's so fucking beautiful. I can't believe it. I don't understand it. I don't understand how one person can be so fucking... so... there's no words. I physically can't put into words how enchanting she is. She's a fucking goddess, a deity, an eternal beauty who doesn't understand the power she holds over me. "Alex, forever can never get boring. As long as I have you." And I mean that. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Alex: a girl who is emotionally unavailable due to all the sexual, mental, and emotional trauma she's gone through. She believes she is unlovable, unworthy, and that boys are only after one thing. Elias: a boy who just wants to love her, take care of her, buy her all the books in the world and annotate them with her. A boy who Is desperate to

For with God nothing shall be impossible. (Luke 1:37) ~~~~~ Jasper is a screwed up kid, yet no one cares enough to find out why. Bruises hide his arms and alcohol stains the walls of his house, but he pushes forward because it's the only thing left for him to do. His days are spent in and out of the school psychologist's office, while his nights are spent in fear of his father. His guitar and the secluded spot by the train tracks where he likes to play are the only saving graces in the hell that is his life. No one disrupted this normal routine until Callie came. Callie is far from screwed up; she doesn't have family issues and doesn't understand the first thing about Jasper's world. Her house is filled with answered prayers and smiles of people who love each other. Her arms are clear and her head is full of optimism that Jasper doesn't buy for a second. She never second guessed her sunny disposition on life until she stumbled upon a boy and his guitar down by the train tracks. Callie and Jasper weren't supposed to cross paths. She wasn't supposed to care and he wasn't supposed to let her get under his skin, but then again opposites weren't supposed to attract either. Callie saw the good in him where most people thought there was none ; she was captivated by Jasper because he made her question everything she knew about the world. She thought it would be easy to teach him that there was still good left in the world, that there was more beyond all the bad he'd become accustomed to. She thought fixing him would be easy, but nothing worthwhile is ever easy and sometimes it takes more than one girl's overly optimistic persistence to pull a person out of the hell they've been living in; sometimes it takes faith and realizing that some things can't be done without it... ~~~~~ -Highest Ranking: #8 in spiritual, 10/25/17 ; #1 in Christianity, 2019 -Wattpad Featured Novel: 10/19/17
