It's funny how nature adapts even when the world has tilted to its limit. The way entire societies crumble to nothing, and yet, time still turns like nothing happened. The fallen are buried under a sea of darkness, and at its surface, a new seed sprouts.
But the fallen are still remembered. They leave behind their old shadows, their offspring, and the consequences of their decisions. Among the messy tangle of nature's regrowth sits a multitude of offspring and consequences, abandoned and left to their own devices. A young, orange slugcat, born in an artificial womb. A lonely traveler, in search of revenge and peace of mind. A small beast, in search of a true destiny. How will they shape their new world, and how many solutions does it take to fix one big problem?

Morality & Mortality (Artificer x Reader)
Rain World and all characters in it are made by Video Cult, I do not own these characters or the game. If you do not know what Rain World is, I heavily advise you do some non-spoilery research on it. Heavy spoilers for the base game and Artificer's campaign ahead. ------------------------------------- "The Rain shall fall, and so shall every scavenger in this damn wasteland" "Ok, but do we HAVE to kill them?" A story where a PACIFIST of all slugcats ends up in the decaying, rot filled wasteland known as 'Rain World'. Your frail frame and sickly nature will do you no good here, and your vow of peace is nothing but a detriment to you. Sick, starving and having a broken leg isn't the best case scenario in such a place, but when you see that tell-tale sign of another slugcat. A faint hope blossoms. Or A Pacifist (You) ends up in Rain Word and finds Artificer. Notes: You go by They/Them, so everyone can suffer while reading my story equally. Artificer is female in this fanfic. I'm sorry male Arti fans. Swear warning: The Artificer is not known to be very kind with words. Suicidal Ideation: This will also be present, incase you have trouble with this topic, it may be best you refrain from reading this. Blood and Violence: This book will not shy away from depictions of blood, due to me being pretty new to this type of story, don't expect a full blown detailed depiction of every injury, wound or malady that is present. Music: Music will be offered to you. Most of it will be ambience, with the occasional fight theme here and there. Mature Rating: The Mature rating is for the themes of death, existential dread and other issues. There won't be any seggs, don't let it fool you.

Rain was a beast who desired independence and strength. She was loathe to be pushed around and demanded respect from others. She may be unique, but she will not let others treat her as a fragile treasure. If others reject her ways, then she will reject them. This is a fanfiction to the manhua, 'Beauty and the Beasts' and its webnovel, 'Leisurely Beast World: Plant Some fields, Have Some Cubs' by White-Headed Dream (白头梦). There will be a few major and minor changes compared to the original work, but all credit for characters from the original story and world building goes to the original author. The story is set a little less than 20 years after the original plot and operates under a specific scenario: What if Bai QingQing returns to her world a few months after her first leopard cubs are born? What if her snakelings were not all male? Follow Bai Qingqings's eldest daughter on a journey of self identity. Warning: Some level of violence is present in this story. Forest's Fate
An original story about a planet of cats and the troubles that lurk within . . . ~~~~~ Forest used to be an ordinary outdoor cat living on Earth. He thought his only possible problem would be the annoying humans that lived alongside him. That was until a mysterious black cat kidnapped him and many other Earth cats to a completely different planet called Gardinia. Because of that, Forest is whisked into a war between the Superiors, who are cats with super powers trying to take over the planet, and the rebels attempting to stop them to restore equality. Forest is forced to fight for the Superiors. The only way back to his home planet is if he helps defeat the rebels with the other Earth cats, despite his growing sympathy for the cats he is supposed to fight. That, or he loses his memory and will remain in Gardinia for the rest of his life as a mindless minion.
