We know very little about Error's past. He couldn't have always been the Destroyer, right? Where did he come from? Was he always a glitchy mess, or was he forced into that by Fate? Will he be able to forge his own Destiny? If you want to know the answers, or at least my version, read on. This is a story of a new AU, nearly as old as Underswap and Underfell, but hidden. This is the story of Error finding a family. This is the story of Error making his own Destiny. This is the story of Error and Startale. ----⊰↺◊↻⊱---- Many thanks to @harrish6 for the idea of Fate and Destiny, as well as the concept of the Balance. Check out their books, they are quite impressive. This book features some characters from various sources, I'll list the ones I can remember: Undertale - Toby Fox Error, Fresh and Geno - CQ / LoverOfPiggies Ink - Myebi / Comyet Dream and Nightmare - Joku Cross and Cross!Chara - Jakei Various other characters belong to their owners The only characters that belong to me are Snow, Syrah, Quill, Lune, and any other random OCs.

(Picture and characters do not belong to me, they belong to their respectful owners.) Error is the destroyer, Ink is the creator. Both Gods in their own right. They are the balance in their part of the Multiverse, making sure that neither goes to far and makes their Multiverse fall apart at the seams. If Error was able to destroy all the AU's, then there would be nothing left. The universe that they live in would just cease to exist with nothing to fill it up. That is why Ink is needed, to make sure that there is something to fill in those blank spaces, to make sure that there is life. If Ink was able to continue to create with no one to stop him or oppose him, then the AU's would collide and destroy one another. The universe would crumble and decay as they touch, as there is no more room to grow in. That is why Error is needed, to make sure that the AU's don't collide and kill one another, to make sure that there is room to grow in. Error knew this well, even with his spotty and vague memories. Ink did not. Error was broken and tired. He had nothing to live for in the end. He had no friends, no love to call his own, no family. No one wanted him around. He called for help, for anyone to save him from his own madness. But no one came. They left him in the Anti-Void, for the screams to over take him. So Error let go. He fell into the void to be scattered across time and space. No one would miss him. But he did not scatter, he traveled through time and space. Error landed in a new Multiverse. One where there was no Error. All AU's lived in balance in this universe. There was no creator who could not control himself and just create more and more. There was no destroyer who had to destroy. By the time Error's universe knew what they did wrong and the truth of the matter, their universe was falling apart and they had to get back Error to do his job. But they hit a big roadblock when they finally found Error. This universe would not let Error go without a fight.

The Child of Error and Reaper is born. With such a strong being alive though, the Council of Reapertale want to exterminate it. Nightmare wants to use it for his own personal gain. The Star Sanses already want Error dead. Where could they go that is safe?

Children of Darkness (Soul of Void) - [FGoD!Error Sans] by LunaRoAC

[HK/Undertale Crossover] For ages, the Void godness has to sit and see how her multiverse was fill and filled by AUs of her Universe, Undertale, she hated them at first, but now all her hate fall in their creator, Fate's spawn, Ink. For ages she has been incapabel to help those children of hers outside her Universe, the so-called Dark Sanses, the Guardian of Negativity, the God of Destruction and those under their protection, has to watch them beign hurt over and over again from the hands of their Universes or by the hand of the self preclaimed protectors of the Multiverse, the Star Sanses. When Destiny comes to her with a plan to put them in a safe place, she inmediatly agrees. Meanwhile, in another Multiverse, other Void God makes a deal with the ruler of Hallownest. The Pale King would give him back ALL of his children and then he would help him against the Infection caused by the Moth godness. So he is very confused (and a bit mad) when months later he can feel six more children enter to Hallownest without an explication.

Science!Sans made a reverse personality potion, they used it on Error, Such a big mistake. What will happen to the multiverse if the merciful destroyer changes? Can they reverse the reverse potion and realize their mistake just in time before the multiverse fully collapse? (Fgod concept belongs to harrish6, I do not own undertale nor the characters featured in this story.) Ink wasn't really sure how much someone needed to lose before they could say they lost everything. Ink hadn't lost a lot, if he had to list it all. But then again, he never had much to begin with. A nameless, empty AU, and a job he had no real part in. All he really had- all he truly cherished- was his friends. There were other things, such as Broomie or his colours, but most importantly, there was his friends. Blue and Dream. Dream and Blue. In the end, they were all that truly mattered. The thing he would give everything up for. Ink didn't really have a lot. But he could say he lost everything. His death had been undramatic and easy, all things considered. Ink wouldn't say he was content with dying- never content- but he hadn't felt too horrible about it either. He hadn't expected to wake up. Wake up to before everything fell apart. Dream wasn't expecting to find Error when he located the negativity source. He definitely didn't expect to find the so called Destroyer curled up on the ground, glitching horribly and motionless. Error doesn't understand why an anomaly is so willing to help him. But something about Dream ends up making his soul flutter. Perhaps positivity and destruction can get along, even with the struggles that come with it...
