The Desperados were a rising, promising band in the music industry, who were brought together by one steadfast person. Five people, who had nothing in common, had one shared interest and formed a group with an optimistic ascent to the music industry within ten months.

Sophie Newton was a typical student in her small high school. She was the valedictorian of her class, participated in every activity under the sun, and had a loving family she could count on. As her senior year in high school began to dwindle, she grew anxious of the future outlined for her, suddenly not wanting to settle into the path created for her.

One late night after a football game and a world-shattering conversation leads to Sophie pursuing her unorthodox dreams she harbored for years and recruiting students in her school, who had the same dreams and fears as her. As the five students navigated the newfound friendship, local fame, and emerging romances, the band's faults slowly emerged as their last year of high school concluded and betrayals led to grudges.
