Jennifer Gray's life is unspeakably ordinary: going from a top-notch London university to a minimum wage job at a supermarket is not her idea of fun. What she desires above everything is not even an adventure, just something vaguely interesting to amuse her whilst she serves people at a check-out. People watching has always been her thing, and where better to watch people than at a supermarket. 
However, soon she and her friends Ben and Hazel realise that something vaguely interesting might actually turn up closer to home. And that that something might be completely stressful and ridiculous.All Rights Reserved

I've been staring at you for a while which I know was totally creepy but I swear I am not. I notice that you look lonely and sad so I picked this flower and hopes that your day will become a little bit lighter." She pushed the flower a little so I was forced to take it. "Huh you're still not happy. Wait please." The redhead run towards a bush that has a sign that clearly said "Don't pick any flowers. Fine $50." After she picked a handful. She runs back to me. "Here." she offered the newly stealed flowers to me. "oh I also have a chocolate bar. do you want one?" The only thing that's running on my mind was who's this strange woman and can I take her home? Jobs vary from not having one to shop work, bartending and au pair through to getting a toe on the corporate ladder. There is infatuation, and love from various sources so there is also disappointment, and breakups by varying means and for various reasons. Education varies from a bit of formal study to a large dollop of the University of Life. The latter being the real reason Caroline left home in the first place - to grow up in her own way through her own experiences with no-one else to blame but herself and the interesting hand that life deals along the way. Caroline moves home 19 times, only to find that the 20th move takes her to the last place she ever expected to be. Back where she started. Things aren't always as they seem...

It's after a conversation with her closets friends, that she realises that her work life is too messy, and not worth all the stress, concluding her with the decision to leave. It's not until she's about to hand in her resignation, though, that she discovers she had her crush's attention the whole time.
