'I can feel your pain' is the story that centres on the main character Lee Byeol, the girl who fights against her past and present in order to find the real self and learn how to use her power.
The book opens with an event from Lee Byeol's past, when she lost her mother. After that accident she gains supernatural powers. She has the ability to feel everyone's emotions when she touches them, and when she looks into their eyes she can see what situation made them feel like that. Byeol grows up with her father who doesn't believe in her powers, so he makes her go to the psychologist. Her best friend betrays her and the whole school starts to hate her. One day she gets in trouble and a secret detective saves her. After that, she starts working with him and helps with the cases. Strange boy from school becomes her best friend and there's where the love triangle begins.
Book contains more dialogues than descriptions because it's a drama.
There will be a lot of retrospective parts, especially at the begining of first 20 chapters, so at the very end, you find out the whole story about her past and present.
If you're a fan of love stories, romance, mystery, fantasy or detective stories you'll love this book. Since it involves a lot of genres, you'll be able to find yourself in one of those. After all, don't we all dream of having special powers? Unfortunately, this book will show you the bad side of it and prove that powers bring more misfortune than good things.
I started writing this book in 2017. and I've finished it in August 2019. All the edit work is already finished, so I'll try to post as orderly as possible. Hope you'll enjoy it. 💜
