STUBBORN lINEAGE.
Completed Hamma... I don't feel like eating." "Noor, eat that food now!" I said, my voice firm and commanding, cutting through the silence. She looked down at her plate, her eyes filled with reluctance. "Hamma, please... I'm not hungry. And... the food is too much for me to finish." "Noor, don't argue with me. I'm not your mate," I replied sharply. "You better eat that food, or I will force it down your throat. Trust me, I can do it." My words hung heavily in the air, a clear and unmistakable threat..... This is a story about two young people who were married without their consent, a union carried out with their parents' approval. ...So technically, it was an arranged marriage from their parents' perspective, but a forced marriage from theirs. He was far too arrogant for her liking, and she was far too stubborn and clumsy for his. Could this journey ever truly work...? We all have those cousins who can hardly be called family-more like cats and dogs. Sharing the same roof is nearly impossible, even when the rain pours endlessly. ⚠🚫⚠ WARNING: READ AT YOUR OWN PACE!!! This is a fictional story; all characters and events are imaginary, and any resemblance to real life is purely coincidental. It also explores forced marriage, is highlighting both its advantages and disadvantages-something parents should carefully consider before practicing it. Yours faithfully, The WriterComplete

Set in the northern heart of Nigeria, this is the journey of Jawahir-a quiet, who navigates university life with a strong sense of family, a tight circle of best friends, and a love for soft things-like routine, reflection, and whispered prayers between lectures. But just when she's getting used to school life, a late-night scroll on Instagram changes everything. She finds him-a gym model, far from her reach, but somehow carved into her heart. A crush turns into a secret obsession. For 4 years, she watches him from afar, never speaking to him, yet praying about him. This isn't your typical love story.
