A group of teenagers who live in a place known only as "The Compound" are led to believe that they are the last people on the planet, aside from their ever-present caretakers. The Caretakers study them and their abilities, never once letting them know of the thriving outside world.

In the outside world, everybody has abilities, known as "Gifts." The oppressive government prevents people from using these Gifts properly. A faction of rebels is on the rise, determined to retrieve the children they lost to this cruel government and create a fairer world for all.

Modern futuristic AU. This story will contain mature themes and triggering topics, such as somewhat detailed descriptions of blood and violence, suicide, depression, homophobia, child abuse, and death.

UnderOrange book 11: Second Chance by MysticMew90

Taking place during Book 9 yet again, but this time after Chapter 1, Psomí, Stardust, and the others have suddenly been teleported to an AU in the Sundriverse that they thought would stay permanently inactive. Stardust, one of the main characters, realizes immediately what is going on. This is based on a comic I made back in 2016. You may ask: Didn't I do this before with Buckotale? There is a difference between a remake and reboot. According to maddog2020casting.com, a reboot is some new direction from a story or character. A remake is having a story or characters, and remaking it with a different direction than the original. Since it's the 6th year anniversary of this comic I made, I thought "Why not do this to celebrate it?" Plus, I thought it would be good character development. Also, I take a trip down memory lane. If you'd like to see the comic for whatever reason, fair warning: It's pretty bad, but it's good enough that I made the UnderOrange series, which was inspired from this. It's bad and quick. I forgot a few parts, It was the year I started drawing, It's messy, there's no plot, etc; but it was a good start for improving. I don't think I'm ever going to try doing a full comic again, sadly. Dec 22 Update: This story might have a character from an different fandom. Check out "Secrets of the Shadows" by Animation Studio if you want to get a full sense of what this "73" is. Older brothers. I have more than people could handle. I have 8 brothers. Well one is my twin, but surprise surprise he likes to make it known that he is older. Sometimes it sucks being the only girl, but I wouldn't change it for the world. My name is Alora. I am 14 years old and a freshmen in high school. People think that my family is perfect and that we have never had anything bad happen to us. We lost our mom over 9 years ago. I also had something bad happen to me, but I will get into more detail in the story. This book is just for fun.
