The sirens stopped screaming, the voice stopped taunting, the children stopped crying and a mother no longer stood firm. Faced down in the darkened alleyway, a pool of blood marked her resting spot. She had become one of them and she remained forever more one of them.

The smiles and warm hugs just tricked her and fall into the lies, the tears on her eyes can't show up this time as she cried too much before when everyone fade away on her eyes. Because she wasn't the same as the world was full of dread, he killed her families and the marks of scars beating alive on her heart as she thought he was a best friend. The Falling
Bang! Bang! My tired knees buckle and slam together as I roll down the steep, narrow ramp like thunder as clumsily as a frail old woman. Sweat streams down my hot forehead in trickles of sticky, bitter sweet water. The droplets gather at the beginning of my hairline like an army on the border of enemy territory. This maze of blackened, battered walls is illuminated by the soft multi-coloured glow of the futuristic weaponry we’ve been armed with. It’s been barely twenty minutes since I’ve been thrown into battle like a rabbit into the lion’s den. I’ve managed to trigger, kick and claw my way through like a rabid dog roaming the sober streets. I’m the last of the survivors. I lick my lips in anticipation like a raindeer high on candy canes. My adrenaline runs wild like a boar streaking through the forest. The outline of a tall male with dark hair, dark eyes and tanned skin engenders itself to my gaze. I aim, the slim barrel of the black gun aligns with my focused eye. Bang!Complete

His eyes meet mine, but there is no spark of any emotion in them. They are cold and dark making me look away not being able to hold his deadly stare. I feel uneasy under his gaze, and i feel his eyes burning a hole in the side of my face. "No, I won't explain because it's not important." He says in a low, almost, growl. I flinch and look back into his eyes. I feel hurt by his words and I don't know why, but I know he sees it in my eyes. His faces flashes with regret but it's quickly covered up with his faces going back to it's hard cold look. I feel my heart stop and my face go pale. His look terrified me making me hold my breath. "Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. "I just can't walk home alone, please I'm scared." I hear him chuckle. "You aren't afraid of me? What can possibly be scarier than me?" He asks. "Well, I know you will keep me safe." "Why is that?" He questions raising an eyebrow at me. "You haven't hurt me." "Yet." He mutters, but I roll my eyes.Complete

At least, not yet. The streetlamps began to flicker and a loud scream was heard from inside an alley. All she really knew at that moment was to run. Her town was being raided by these monsters on black horses.... they carried long black blades stained with blood and dark hoods covering their faces. They raced recklessly through the town on their dark mounts, slashing at anyone who stood in their way. Some of them even carried torches, using them to set houses and stores alight in flames. People ran everywhere, screaming and yelling for their lost family and friends. But Mercy continued running... she had to. Until she saw a little girl, no older than seven, sitting in front of a burning building, crying. Mercy slowed, then with hesitation, walked over to the girl, avoiding being seen by the raiding party. "Whats the matter with you? You need to get out of the open." She told her. "But- but i don't know where my mommy is." The little girl sobbed. Although Mercy had lost her mother when she was fourteen, she still remembers the feeling of helplessness. "Alright. Come on... Let's go try to find your mom." She sighed. A raider was drawing closer to them, so they had to hurry... and Mercy knew it. "Run." She whispered to the girl, who was oblivious to the approaching attacker.Complete
