Not even a second to waste, the simple pull of a trigger and superb aim and it was all over for the lifeless city. The sirens stopped screaming, the voice stopped taunting, the children stopped crying and a mother no longer stood firm. Faced down in the darkened alleyway, a pool of blood marked her resting spot.
